TP 16 MTP 36 MTP 66 BTP 72 & 80 STP 80 HTP 80
Model "TP 16" Transfer Printing Machine.A multi-purpose transfer printing machine for shoelaces, ribbons and tapes from 1/4" (6mm) to 12" (305mm) wide. Printing speeds are variable with fabric type, from a commercial optimum of 5 - 7 metres per minute to a maximum of 12 metres per minute. The 24" (610mm) diameter cylinder has heating elements adjustable to within 1" (25mm) of its internal diameter and a special Bates finish to improve heat absorption and reduce warm-up times by 40 per cent. Up to 10 individual widths of fabric can be processed together at identical temperature, tension, pattern transfer and print sublimation with cassette feed and positive input drive roller system. Greater finishing flexibility, ideal for fine gauge fabrics, is provided by air pressure regulated blanket control - up to 30 psi. Printed materials and used tapes are exited via a 6 roller take-up system. MTP 36" Transfer Printing Machine. This 12 k.w. all-electric, mini transfer printing machine is equipped with a 14" (35cm) diameter cylinder for 36" (91cm) fabric widths. Fabric printing is continuous, at 3 metres per minute, by dyestuff sublimation from paper transfers, using applied heat at accurately controlled temperatures between 100 and 230 degrees centigrade. Fabric, transfer paper and, where necessary, backing paper, are fed into the nip at the front of the machine. They are then taken round the heated cylinder by a nomex blanket. Each is then rolled up again at the rear, using controlled tension. The fabric is cooled before re-rolling. Fabric can be processed in either tubular or open width state with great simplicity. Most fibres, including mixtures, can be printed in this way. Results are highly satisfactory with extreme accuracy of print, plus fastness to wash and light tests. Model "MTP 66" Transfer Printing Machine. An all-electric 25 k.w. machine which caters for all fabric widths up to 66" (175cm). Printing is continuous at 3 metres per minute, in all other respects following the same process sequence as the Model "MTP 36" Machine above. Model "BTP 72" Transfer Printing Machine. An all-electric 30 k.w. machine, catering for all fabric widths up to 72" (180 cm) and having a cylinder diameter of 22.5" (55cm). Printing continuously at 6 metres per minute from transfer paper. Model "BTP 80" Transfer Printing Machine. Like the Model "BTP 72" machine above, this all-electric transfer printing machine, with cylinder diameter of 22.5" (55 cm) and speeds of up to 6 metres per minute, caters for all fabric widths up to 80" (2 metres). Utilising the same power as the Model "BTP 72" Machine. Model "STP 80" Transfer Printing Machine. This machine is designed to give a commercial high quality printing speed of 8 metres per minute, with minimal power consumption all-electric 36 k.w. It has an increased cylinder diameter of 28" (70 cm) and caters for fabric widths up to 80" (2 metres). The temperature range is 100 to 230 degrees centigrade as for the previous models featured, but the heating elements have been uprated by increasing the resistance of the element wire to ensure a greater uniform heat transfer rate round the cylinder surface. Warm-up time has been reduced by up to 40% by application of a unique finish which has greatly improved the heat absorption properties of the cylinder. A simplified cylinder temperature sensor system provides further benefit. Notably more compact in design, the machine provides a higher range of tensions for greater finishing flexibility - especially advantageous for fine gauge fabrics. An automatic blanket control system ensures maximum productivity. Model "HTP 80" Transfer Printing Machine. The Model "HTP 80", catering for 80" (2 metre) fabric widths, represents a further advance, with normal running speeds of up to 15 metres per minute, obtainable, plus an increase in cylinder diameter to 40". The minimal power consumption of 54 k.w. with the same automatic re-wind as the STP 80" above to control the re-wind tensions after printing. An important feature for light gauge fabrics. Using the same machine design, fabric widths up to 3 metres can be processed.
